What I Did Today

Babysat some of the best little kids in the world  aka: grandbabies

Made these for supper again!

Scallion pancakes remind me of my childhood. When I was very young, my dad worked with
a man from India. We visited their house a number of times and they made the BEST
bread. I don't think I've had anything like it since--homemade tortillas are close.
Last night when I ate a cold corner of one of the scallion pancakes I realized that I believe
my Indian friends made their bread with a similar method, only without the scallions.

Worked at finishing this bag.
Hope is telling me the style she would like me to make for her.
I guess that is fair compensation for the advertising she is doing over on Instagram
There is a promotion going on...
And yes, this is an in-stock item.
Cross body strap, short handles
Made from oil-tanned leather to give you durability and softness.
Zipper on the top-with a little tab on the zipper (that needs a few stitches yet)
Remember this is hand - stitched

It's 9" wide by 8" high  2" deep

Inside pocket

And it includes a simple wristlet wallet-two credit card slots and a bonus slot.
The wristlet fits nicely inside the bag.
I'm asking $95
To order you can message me on here, FB or IG

The things we do to drill in those multiplication facts!
But it's working! Tonight she said all of the 6,7,8,9 without looking and with few errors.

January 2020

I am really liking the weather this winter- especially since I don't really like snow.
Shekinah doesn't often get too much help playing in the snow, but Zeke
challenged her to run around in the front yard in bare feet like the older boys used to do.
Such a screaming and shrieking!

This is a tradition that will pass too soon.
When these grands come for supper, they like to "watch something"
just before they go home. But you can't "watch something" without cups of
chocolate milk.

And they still each use a sippy cup.

It is very difficult to memorize facts in which you have no interest.
States and capitols , multiplication, and random facts about old dead guys aka history are
very low on the interest index. Now the dress I talked about last week,
the baby we met at church and the snack I forgot to get....those are important facts.
So I dug out the old wooden puzzle that her biggest brother used
and probably others before him. Only Illinois was missing so I made a piece from leather.

The map is reversible with the world on the reverse side.  USSR rules a large chunk of the world.

It was produced in 1975, so that explains it.

QOTD: Parker to his mommy, talking about grandmas
Mommy: "So how do you get to be a grandma?"
Parker:"Well first you need to get pretty old....thenyouhavetobenicerthanmommy"
OOH Parker!
