Well, guess who can see clearly now! He passed his school exam with no problems...but still had about 20/70 vision. (Note to self: make appointments for the others) He keeps popping his glasses off and on and saying "Wow!"
Our 6 yr old was quite literally blind before his glasses and he just got another new script for lenses (2x in 6 wks)....he goes back in another month to see if this is the right script. Amazing how their vision affects their learning as well...we learned today that there is a huge disconnect between his brain function and his vision. Therapy here we come!
I think we will be getting John's eyes checked soon. I'm guessing he may need glasses, too! I just scrolled back through your old posts and printed your dumpling recipe. John's English tutor was here today (she is Chinese), and I was having her ask him what he likes to eat, because he's been pretty picky lately. Although he ate them without a problem in China, he now says he doesn't like hamburgers. We were at a Chinese market, and he said he didn't like the dumplings (from frozen section). Today he told his tutor that he likes home made dumplings. So, I remembered your recipe and went back and printed it. I'll let you know how it goes!
