No school schedule, so later bedtime for the kiddos and later wake up time.
They can go swimming often...even in the rain.
They don't need baths as often, after being challenged many summers ago to try and explain the need for baths after spending hours soaking in chlorinated water....I gave up. The girls do need their hair care but
we have started washing their hair on the back porch...
It's usually not so hot back there and I don't have to kneel on the floor in the bathroom or avoid the spray of the shower.
A couple of pitchers of water and we're done.
I would do that, too! What a blessing to wear them out and get them clean on such a regular basis!
ReplyDeleteGrowing up we washed our hair outside too.Easier for Mom and kept the drain from clogging up.(you can imagine with eight girls the amount of hair that washed down the drain.
